Main Responsibilities/Duties
- Together with a dedicated team of highly skilled developers, be responsible for maintaining and developing a web application.
- Write reusable, testable, and efficient code
- Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability
- Work closely with the design team to implement new styling to the application.
- Troubleshoot and fix bugs/flaws within the web application to ensure the application is working efficiently and correctly.
- Upgrade dependencies to ensure longer-term support.
- Work with the QA team to understand and resolve bugs in a timely manner.
- Review pull requests from other web developers to ensure coding standards are upheld and advise more junior developers where appropriate.
Essential skills:
- Strong coding skills in HTML, CSS, Javascript, and JQuery
- Solid experience with SQL and Postgres within an Azure setting.
- Strong emphasis on quality assurance
- Ability to work in sprints as part of a Scrum team
- Excellent time management, problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
Desired skills
- Strong working knowledge of Google Maps API and maintaining geospatial applications using JavaScript libraries.

Salary
An attractive remuneration package (Over LKR 500,000 p.m.)
