Deputy General Manager-Sales & Merchandising
We are on the lookout for a dynamic and energetic individual to join Trischel Fabric (Pvt) Ltd as Deputy General Manager-Sales & Merchandising to drive sales growth and maximize profitability.
Trischel Fabric, a leading synthetic fabric manufacturer in the South Asian region, is a joint venture between MAS Holdings (Private) Limited, Sri Lanka, and Best Pacific International Holdings Limited, China. The ideal candidate will have the knack for building customer relationships, a strategic mindset, and the skills to lead the Sales & Marketing team in delivering exceptional results of profitable business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor market conditions, gain understanding of customer's buying practices/seasonal calendar and customize necessary customer presentations to identify and fulfill customer requirements.
- Formulate, devise, and implement Sales & Marketing strategies and objectives aligned with the business strategies and objectives to communicate to relevant parties to achieve agreed business objectives.
- Build & maintain good rapport & healthy relationships with customers to understand their ultimate strategic interests, concerns, constraints, and focused product categories to better align the organization to meet them.
- Build a cordial relationship with Production Teams and develop customized solutions to retain customers to establish Trischel as their preferred strategic supplier.
- Oversee the preparation of all documentation (promotional and non-promotional)/presentations/analysis pertaining to Marketing, Development & Sales to facilitate management decision making and attract and retain customers.
Qualification and Experience:
The ideal candidate would possess 7-8 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity with a degree or professional qualification in Marketing Management or Business Administration. An MBA/CIM or CIMA qualification would be an added advantage.
Candidates should also possess excellent strategic acumen along with excellent negotiation & communication skills with the ability to build high-performance teams. Having a background in finance would be beneficial.
