Lanmic Group is a diversified conglomerate, consisting of one BOI company and three local companies that manufacture and distribute value-added minerals like calcium carbonate and calcium magnesium carbonate for various industries. Established in 1998, it supplies raw materials in Paints, Polymers, Building Materials, Animal Feeds, and Detergents. The company is expanding rapidly, seeking talented, high-performance individuals to join its team.
Responsibilities
- Identify potential hazards
- Recommend corrective actions
- Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures in compliance with regulations
- Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments
- Perform regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with EHS policies
- Establish effective communication with external entities and regulatory agencies
- Investigate accidents and incidents, analyze root causes, and develop strategies to prevent reoccurrence
- Collaborate with department heads to ensure all employees receive proper safety training and are equipped with the necessary knowledge and tools to perform their duties
Qualifications & Experiences
- Certificate or diploma-level qualification in occupational health and safety, preferably NIOSH/NEBOSH
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing company
- Knowledge of local environment, health, and safety regulations
- Knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, & ISO 9001 is an added advantage
- Proficient in MS Office
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to conduct effective training sessions
