Chemist - Binder Plant
Qualifications
- Degree in Chemistry/Polymer Science and diploma in Quality Assurance
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in the field
- Should be computer literate
- Excellent communication and teamworking skills
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for monitoring and ensuring final Quality Control (QC) of incoming material and finished products aligns with the stipulated quality standards
- Define and establish quality standards and specifications for incoming material and finished products
- Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures
- Investigate and analyse the root causes of quality issues or defects and implement corrective and preventive actions to address identified issues
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure incoming material meets quality standards
- Collaborate as a team member during the scaling up of new products or modifications in the production process
- Ensure proper maintenance of laboratory equipment, including regular calibrations, to uphold the accuracy of test results
