Accounts Executive
W.A.Perera & Company (Pvt.) Ltd is an exclusive leader in supplying material to the construction industry with a range of products. As part of our expansion drive, we are currently on the lookout for result oriented individual to join our Finance team in the above capacity.
Job Responsibilities in brief
- Responsible for accurate processing of all Company payments and maintaining updated documentation
- Maintain the Creditor balances at a manageable level
- Assist to prepare the Annual Budgets and to prepare the cash flows/Payment plan of the Company monthly and weekly basis
- Maintain Loans and Leases schedules and follow up on due settlements
- Liaise with Bank when required
- Responsible for supporting the Finance Team to close the monthly accounts
Required Qualifications/Skills
- Part qualification in Chartered or CIMA / Full qualification in AAT
- Minimum three-year experience (preferably in a construction company)
- Accounting knowledge
- Experience in Construction Company is preferable
- Reports Generation skills
- Good communication skills
- Comply with policies and procedures set out by the Company and pay attention to reduce cost and improve the efficiency of work carried out
- Team working
