Internal Audit Lead - Bangladesh
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field
- Should be pursuing strategic level examinations in CA or an equivalent professional certification such as CIMA or ACCA is mandatory
- Should possess at least four years of overall related experience in internal auditing and a minimum of two years experience at executive level in the manufacturing industry
- Should be able to work independently with minimum supervision
- Strong knowledge of financial, IT, and operational processes
- Good command of written and spoken English
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and executing annual audit plans, including identifying key risk areas and audit objectives
- Conduct thorough internal audits of various departments and functions to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of processes, controls, and compliance with policies and regulations
- Prepare audit reports and participate in discussion of issues and remedial action plans with the appropriate level of management
- Collaborate with department heads and staff to implement suggested improvements and monitor their progress
- Ensure that the organization adheres to relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies
- Maintain detailed audit documentation and work papers for reference and review
- Assist in the coordination and facilitation of external audits or reviews when necessary
