- FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT
- Successful candidate will report to Finance Manager and will be responsible for analyzing and reporting the business performance.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of monthly management accounts and management reports.
- Analyze and interpret monthly reports against budget, including variance reporting. Reconcile general ledger and balance sheet accounts.
- Prepare schedules and reconciliations for year-end audits.
- Verify and approve supplier payments, both local and overseas. Prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Manage and supervise a team effectively.
- Maintain a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Full or part membership of CA Sri Lanka.
- Minimum of 3 years of working experience as an Accountant. Experience with Business Central/Navision accounting software. Knowledge in advanced Excel is a must.
- Excellent communication and strong time management skills.
- Previous work experience in an audit firm and the manufacturing industry is an added advantage.
