Anuradhapura or Mannar

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure effective implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of livelihood activities in line with approved plans and budget.
  • Identify and proactively practice new opportunities for livelihood programming (stand-alone and/or integrated projects) and share feedback to conceive a new implementation approach.
  • Work closely with local authorities and community-based organizations promoting sustainable livelihood development in the target area and mobilize these institutions for the program as appropriate.
  • Actively participate in field-level need assessments (beneficiary identification and selection processes, logistic arrangements, identification of needs, etc.)
  • Prepare all documents, forms, and templates necessary for the implementation of the livelihood project.
  • Regularly monitor project activities and provide timely input and feedback to the program manager.
  • Implement projects that support agriculture.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum 1-3 years of working experience in an NGO/INGO in a similar capacity.

Hands-on experience in implementing sustainable livelihood programs.

Diploma or equivalent professional qualification from a recognized institute in the agriculture field.

A valid motorbike license.
