We now wish to recruit a high calibre individual to join Sri Lanka's leading international brand for the following position.
- Post of Shipping Executive/Assistant Shipping Manager
We are looking for a dynamic person to handle our export shipping documentation independently.
Position Requirement
- Diploma/Degree in Logistics would be an advantage.
- Minimum 5 years previous experience in an export organization required. Computer literate and be able to work in a fully computerized environment.
- Knowledge of Office 365 necessary.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Willing to work as a team player.
Job Responsibilities
- Should be able to handle pre and post shipment documents.
- Be fully conversant with import/export procedures.
- Co-ordinate with Customs, BOI, Shipping Lines, Government Departments, Chamber of Commerce, Plant Quarantine, Foreign Ministry, Embassies etc.
