Position: Senior Operations Analyst

Location: Colombo, Sri Lanka

Monitor the activity & analyze data: With the help of dataset, you will supervise market performance, understand our challenges, and always look for ways to improve the operations.
You will build analytical frameworks, operational models, or dashboards to have a close over the business control and drive operational improvement as well as to collect insights.
Build & optimize scalable process & tools: Identify improvement opportunities and define action plans to address those. Work with Global teams to launch solutions and adapt those to the local market.
Perform root cause analyses to explain movements of key marketplace indicators and drive automation of key business processes
Examine issues and opportunities in detail, use data and insights to recommend sound business decisions, design mitigation plans if the business is adversely impacted Influence and engage with both internal and external stakeholders, as well as collaborate across a wide variety of functions and levels to meet business objectives.

A minimum of 3 years of experience, preferably in data analytics, operations management, management consulting, and investment banking.
Fluency in Sinhalese is mandatory.
Data extraction, cleansing, analysis, and visualization - strong competency with SQL, Excel/Google sheets is a must
Excel proficiency (modeling, data visualization) and working knowledge in applying SQL (building models, writing queries)
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
Attention to detail and capability to work on multiple projects in parallel without compromising the quality of deliverables.
Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to build and maintain good rapport with local and international stakeholders, and handle situations with confidence, tact, and resourcefulness.
