Assistant Manager - Sales & Marketing

Job Description

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve business goals and increase revenue.
  • Coordinate with foreign tour operators to attract international guests and secure bulk bookings.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with travel trade partners, including travel agencies and corporate clients. Identify new business opportunities and market trends to expand the hotel's market reach.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and address any client concerns promptly.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the hotel industry, with at least 2 years in a sales management position.
  • Proven track record in sales and business development within the travel trade sector.
  • Language proficiency in English and Sinhala, with Tamil or any other language as an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
