EXECUTIVE-CATEGORY MARKETING
CAREER PROFILE
- Devise and execute category strategies and plans aimed at reaching sales and profit objectives
- Oversee range management encompassing planning, selection, and optimization of styles and SKUs
- Formulate pricing strategies and supervise price positioning
- Conduct regular inventory audits to minimize inventory discrepancies and to ensure inventory is in alignment with sales projections
- Regularly evaluate product performance and supply effectiveness to ensure adherence to quality standards and customer expectations
- Stay abreast of industry trends, novel product advancements, and pertinent emerging technologies relevant to the category
- Carry out market analysis
- Devise and execute marketing and promotional strategies enhancing brand visibility and building brand equity
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing Management from a reputed University
- Part/Full qualification in CIM / SLIM would be an added advantage
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in brand management
- Strong understanding on research methodologies
- Strong understanding on brand building, advertising and digital media usage
- Analytical skills and data driven thinking
- Project management skills
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
