ACCOUNTS EXECUTIVE

ROLE OVERVIEW

  • You'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of the related party financial transactions and procedures.
  • You will play a supporting role in assisting the team in general administrative work.
  • Oversee scheduling meetings, taking minutes during sessions, maintaining databases, and producing reports or presentations.
  • Coordinate with other departments as necessary for reports and communications for preparation of specific engagements.
  • Maintain and track a detailed priority list of projects and engagements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & PROFILE REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to handle bookkeeping tasks & prepare weekly, monthly, or quarterly reports, invoices, purchase orders, and other documents.
  • Record financial transactions and provide reports/statements when required.
  • Monthly payroll handling of the related companies.
  • Preparation and issuance of monthly invoices & handling of payments, bank deposits, insurance & documentation, calling of quotations & finalizing purchases, etc.
  • Assist the senior management in specific engagements when required.
  • Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of office & make travel arrangements to staff when needed.
  • Maintain the current filing and database system and look for ways to improve current systems, preparing reports, memos, etc.
  • Serve as a liaison and maintain an efficient flow of information between all levels of the company including internal and external contacts on a wide spectrum of plans and priorities.
  • Ability to travel between companies & willingness to work long hours when necessary.

IDEAL PROFILE

  • An excellent command of the English and Sinhala language (Written & Spoken).
  • Age below 40 years.
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual skills.
  • Knowledge in QuickBooks software will be an added advantage.
  • Full/Part qualification in either CIMA/ACCA/CMA/CFA.
  • 3 Years minimum experience in a hotel.
