Job Description:

  • Manage and oversee the entire restaurant operations;

  • Deliver superior guest experiences, whilst ensuring excellent standards of service are maintained and ensuring guest satisfaction;

  • Plan new- and update existing menus and prepare the food costing per menu;

  • Participate at local food events;

  • Organize- and supervise shifts; Manage- and lead employees;

  • Give training to your employees and evaluate their performance regularly;

  • Hold regular stock takes;

  • Manage the restaurant supplies;

  • Exercise control over the costs and minimize wastage;

  • Implement innovative strategies to improve productivity and sales;

Requirements:

  • 3 years experience as a Restaurant Manager and- experience in customer service management;

  • A diploma or Degree in Restaurant- or Hospitality Management or a holder of a similar qualification;

  • Have experience in event planning;

  • Extensive food and wine knowledge;

  • Able to work long hours and overtime when necessary;

  • Computer literate i.e. experienced at using MS Office suite and POS systems; Have sound financial management skills;

  • Be a critical thinker and excellent problem-solving skills;

  • Be an excellent team player;

  • Be able to work under pressure.
