Manage and oversee the entire restaurant operations;
Deliver superior guest experiences, whilst ensuring excellent standards of service are maintained and ensuring guest satisfaction;
Plan new- and update existing menus and prepare the food costing per menu;
Participate at local food events;
Organize- and supervise shifts; Manage- and lead employees;
Give training to your employees and evaluate their performance regularly;
Hold regular stock takes;
Manage the restaurant supplies;
Exercise control over the costs and minimize wastage;
Implement innovative strategies to improve productivity and sales;
Requirements:
3 years experience as a Restaurant Manager and- experience in customer service management;
A diploma or Degree in Restaurant- or Hospitality Management or a holder of a similar qualification;
Have experience in event planning;
Extensive food and wine knowledge;
Able to work long hours and overtime when necessary;
Computer literate i.e. experienced at using MS Office suite and POS systems; Have sound financial management skills;
Be a critical thinker and excellent problem-solving skills;
Be an excellent team player;
Be able to work under pressure.
