ICL Brands (Private) Limited is in the sphere of manufacturing and marketing a wide range of personal care products. ICL Brands is a market leader in sanitary napkins, other feminine hygiene products, and male and female grooming products, including colognes, aftershaves, hair gels and creams, shaving cream and foam, deodorants, talcum powder, and other creams. The company also leads the adult diaper market in Sri Lanka and offers a range of baby care products. It also markets tea and coffee, as well as Ayurveda products such as cough syrup and hair oil.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute marketing strategies of the assigned product portfolio to grow brand/product, topline, bottom line and market share.
  • Plan and execute ATL & BTL activities such as brand thematic campaigns, tactical campaigns, consumer promotions, brand events and trade activities.
  • ⚫ Liaise with advertising agency/media partners in delivering activities of the brand on time in full.
  • Work with trade channels on consumer and trade activities to ensure business growth. ⚫ Monitor and review the marketing budget for the assigned portfolio.
  • ⚫ Understanding Brand P&L to derive strategies and actions to drive brand profitability.
  • Plan and execute innovation plans for the brand liaising with the key stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Liaise with digital agencies to plan and execute social media campaigns to achieve set KPIs.
  • Collect competitive intelligence, consumer insights, and overall market/economic trends and perform in-depth analysis of the implications of these insights to construct plans

Requirements:

  • Possess a degree in Marketing or Business Administration. Professional Qualifications would be an added advantage.
  • Min. 2-3 years experience in a marketing/ communications role.
  • Experience in the FMCG industry would be an advantage.
  • Possess strong communication skills in both English and Sinhalese languages. Tamil proficiency is an advantage.
  • Proactive, result-driven, analytical, and possess effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Possess leadership skills and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
