Assistant Sales Manager - Business Banking & Liability Sales

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of Business Banking ROS in the regions Metro - 1 & Metro - II and a team of Direct Sales Agents (DSA), train and motivate them to achieve set targets in terms of new to bank CASA customers and CASA volumes
  • Train and motivate Business banking Relationship Officers and Direct Sales Agents to achieve set targets in terms of new to bank high quality CASA customers and CASA volumes
  • Ensure achieving assigned annual KPI targets for the year.
  • Train and coach Business banking Relationship Officers and Direct Sales Agents on relationship management activities of assigned portfolios and on acquisition of new to bank trade clients.
  • Design, implement strategy and deploy resources to ensure acquisition of new CASA accounts, volume and ensure business development activities are done within budgeted costs through the team.
  • Maintain zero tolerance with respect to adherence to all internal/external audit & regulatory compliance as applicable
  • Work closely with all the other sales channels.
  • Work closely with other departments/segments of the bank and other organizations outside the bank to ensure sales effectiveness and efficiencies.
  • Train and coach all Business Banking ROs on acquisition of new to bank Trade clients
  • Liaise with cross functional departments to get the required services to CASA customers

The Person

  • A minimum of 7-10 years experience in banking out of which 3 years in Sales/Marketing/Relationship Management
  • Full or part qualification in Banking/SLIM/CIM
  • Driving sales and acquiring low cost deposit products.
  • Strong communication and Leadership skills, coordinate/organize and team building skills
