Assistant Civil Engineer- Transmission line & Substation
Duties & Responsibilities
- Execution of all Civil engineering related site activities
- Provide information for the site records related with civil engineering work
- Manage Contractors, Sub Contractors and workmen at site
- Ensure the quality of the work done as per the design and the plan and safe execution of site activities
- Ensure timely completion of site work
- Extensive knowledge in Civil Engineering & Construction execution
- Be able to interpret civil engineering drawings and execute the same at site
- Provide information to prepare Daily, Weekly & Monthly progress reports
- Support workmen to generate new solutions to Technical, common and everyday issues
- Knowledge in execution road work, Drainage work, Elephant fencing etc.
Experience & Qualifications
- Diploma in Civil Engineering
- Experience in Transmission lines & Substations is a must
- Knowledge in solar PV projects would be an added advantage
- Minimum 2 years of proven work experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Skills in Preparation of progress information
- Willingness to work long hours and any part of the island
