- Responsibilities

- Ensure uptime and availability of the system
Trainee/Internship - (Database Engineering)
- Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage 24x7 databases systems
- Ensure uptime and availability of the system
- Monitor system health, respond to alerts and notifications
- Install, upgrade and patch database systems
- Troubleshoot and fix database problems
- Design and implement database solutions in Data Centre and Cloud environments
- Implement highly available database solutions
- Develop and deploy database objects
- Be available for on-call support roster
- Design highly available database solutions
- Automate using scripts
- Database development
- Be available for on-call support roster
- Assist to provide 24X7 support to maintain client database environment
Experience and skills
- Problem solving and documentation
- Exceptional communication and customer support
- Problem solving skills with can-do attitude
- Support to maintain client database environments
- Hands on experience in Oracle, MS SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
- Experience in installation and configuration of Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL
- Experience in writing SQL queries using T-SQL or PL/SQL
- Knowledge in transaction processing, concurrency, data modelling, and normalization
- Working experience in Window and Linux platforms
- Knowledge in Backup and Recovery techniques and tool
