What you will be doing
- Regularly perform backup and recovery procedures to ensure data can be restored quickly in case of an incident.
- Knowledge of restoring backups to the server (cPanel).
- Implement security measures to protect against unauthorized access and other vulnerabilities.
- Manage user access controls, ensuring only authorized personnel can access or modify data.
- Collaborate with developers and other staff to ensure seamless integration between the website and the database.
- Maintain comprehensive procedures, and policies documentation of database configurations.
- Automate routine database tasks where possible to increase efficiency and reduce the potential for human error.
What you will need to be considered
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in IT support and database management, particularly in a marketing agency.
- Experience with implementing and managing security measures.
- Proficient in managing cloud storage solutions and cPanel, and Basic knowledge of web development (WordPress/Shopify) would be an added advantage.
- Excellent knowledge of networking, operating systems, and server management.
