SALES & MARKETING ASSISTANT MANAGER - MARKETING, EVENTS & PR

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan, develop and implement effective marketing communication campaigns.
  • Develop media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast and online media.
  • Write copy for all marketing collateral, including brochures, letters, emails, all media platforms, campaigns, websites, and branding.
  • Coordinate all public relations activities.
  • Social media content creation and brand strategy development.
  • Budget management, report-making, and analytics.
  • Monitor, analyze and communicate PR results on a quarterly basis.
  • Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships, and advertising on an ongoing basis.
  • Any additional responsibilities given by the GM on an ad hoc basis.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
  • 5+ years' experience in a similar field.
  • Transformative approach to leadership that inspires and empowers others.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Able to be persuasive and procure buy-in from upper management.
  • Solid computer skills and awareness of web-based marketing and social media knowledge of Colombo market.
  • Driven and committed to success while maintaining integrity and creativity.
