MARITIME INTERNATIONAL TERMINAL
We are leading stevedoring service provider company in Sri Lanka. MIT was founded with the primary objective of supplying specialized manpower for ports. Currently, MIT is instrumental in training and managing a substantial portion of the workforce deployed at the East Container Terminal Stage (ECT) in Colombo Port. We are Looking to Fill the below-mentioned position immediately.
Scope of the job
- Deck Controller
Responsible for safely directing Gantry Crane efficient loading and unloading operations.
Requirements:
- Should pass GCE Advanced Level (A/L) examination in any stream or an equivalent educational qualification from a recognized institution with should pass GCE Ordinary Level (O/L) with Credit pass for Mathematics
- NVQ 4 Qualification maritime related field
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in port operations, terminal management, or a related field.
- Should possess a strong physique and have intact vision and hearing (Medical test is required)
- Willing to work on Roster/Shift basis
- Participation in a sport will be considered an added quality
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong attention to detail and focus on safety
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Age Limit 35 years
