Position Overview:
As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analyzing complex datasets to drive informed business decisions, working closely with various departments to uncover insights, identify trends, and support strategic initiatives. You will perform in-depth data analysis, develop and utilize statistical and data visualization techniques, create clear visualizations and dashboards using tools like Excel, Power BI, or Python/R libraries, and translate complex data into understandable terms for non-technical stakeholders. Additionally, you will generate regular reports and ad-hoc analyses to communicate data-driven insights to management and stakeholders.
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional qualification in Computer Science/Information Technology/Data Analytics/Statistics, or a related discipline from a recognized university. Advanced knowledge in SQL.
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and data modelling techniques.
- Proficiency with data visualization tools like Power BI/Tableau.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work with large datasets.
- Understanding of data privacy and security best practices.
- Knowledge of data management and data warehousing concepts is beneficial.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
