Sithara Limited incorporated in 1964, is the Pioneering Printing Ink Manufacturing Company in STORES/WAREHOUSE Sri Lanka, with a comprehensive range of products MANAGER covering Offset, Rotogravure, Flexography, Water Base & UV Flexo Inks & Coatings etc.
JOB PROFILE
- Identify current and future stores requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers/suppliers and other persons in a position to understand service requirements
- Understanding warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; follow up on work results and deliveries
- Maintain store staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting and training employees
- Prepare annual budget; schedule expenditures; analyse variances; initiate corrective actions
- Monitor daily store keepers duties, maintain stores, record updating, stock verification, stock movement at different stores locations
- Protect employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment
- Maintain the stability and reputation of the store by complying with legal requirements
- Maintain operations by initiating, coordinating and enforcing program, operational and personnel policies and procedures
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Provide training to improve the knowledge base of the staff and utilize cross-training methods to maintain productivity when employees are absent
- Manage stock levels and make key decisions about stock control
- Arrange deliveries on a daily basis as company requirements
- Deal with staffing issues such as interviewing potential staff, conducting appraisals and performance reviews, as well as providing or organizing training and development
- Ensure standards for quality, customer service, and health and safety are met as per ISO standards
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma in Stores Management from a recognized University or Institute
- At least 10-15 years of experience in Stores Management
- Should have sound knowledge in budgeting and cost management
- Should have knowledge in Accounting and bookkeeping
- Experience in working with ERP systems and knowledge in advanced excel
- Good outgoing personality
- Good in decision-making & strategic planning
- Age between 35-45
