Responsibility:
- Ensure the efficient and reliable operation of the Container Repair Division.
- Collaborate with the Management to identify opportunities for steel fabrication.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and procedures to support maintenance activities.
- Supervise repair processes including welding and metal fabrication.
- Conduct quality control checks to maintain high workmanship standards.
- Enhance productivity and quality control measures.
- Innovate new steel fabrication products and services.
Educational / Professional Qualifications:
- Bachelors' Degree in mechanical engineering or Chartered Engineer status in the field of mechanical engineering.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years experience in mechanical engineering, preferably expertise in container repair or ship repair.
- Proficiency in CAD software and structural analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and knowledge of safety procedures and regulations.
- Knowledge of refrigerated containers and ISO tanks is considered a valuable advantage.
- Overseas experience in container repairs will be an added advantage.
- Should be below 55 years.
