The Swadeshi Industrial works is a leading and reputed Sri Lankan company established in 1941, engaged in the manufacture and distribution of high quality branded soaps, personal and laundry care products. As the pioneer manufacturer of generationally trusted branded soaps as well as being the market leader in the herbal segment in Sri Lanka, we are in the process of expanding our business overseas and seek a dynamic, experienced and results oriented professional to establish our footprint in the global market place.
HEAD OF INTERNATIONAL MARKETS
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prioritize and develop winning marketing strategies to build overseas markets and launch of dedicated product ranges
- Establishing strategic business partnerships with global retailers and international distributor partners to increase market share across the globe
- Establish robust process to gather and analyze market data prior to business plan development and implementation for different clusters
- Speed to market with dynamic pricing and preparing of monthly production forecasts and market share data
- Establish out corporate presence in global tradeshows and exhibitions
- Handling orders and administration process up to the last mile delivery
REQUIREMENTS:
- A degree in marketing/business management from a recognized university preferably in international marketing and/or a MBA. Exposure to digital Marketing will be an advantage
- Exposure to international sales in overseas markets in FMCG will be an advantage
- Strong analytical, interpersonal and negotiation skills with inner drive to achieve timely and positive contribution to the management team
- At least 5-7 years' exposure in export sales of FMCG Products
- A sound knowledge in licensing and regulatory compliance
