Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed bills of quantities (BOQ) for MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) projects. Ensure timely preparation and submission of interim and final bills to clients.
- Follow up on submitted bills to ensure timely payment and resolve any billing discrepancies.
- Analyze project specifications, drawings, and tender documents to create accurate cost estimates. Monitor and track project costs to ensure adherence to budget.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate billing and project objectives are met.
- Conduct site visits to gather necessary information for billing and cost estimation.
- Evaluate and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Prepare and present regular financial reports and progress updates.
- Resolve any financial or contractual issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree/ Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems and construction processes.
