Tax Executive
Responsibilities
- Supervise and plan tax computations to ensure monthly and annual deadlines are met
- Establish collaborative relationships with senior management and business partners
- Conduct an audit of the tax computation and make any necessary corrections
- Handling all tax related matters with the Inland Revenue Department (IRD)
- Ensure that current tax regulations are followed
- Communicate with clients, government agencies, and third parties via mail, e-mail and telephone
Qualifications
- Possess at least three years of experience in an audit firm and preferably one/two years in a similar role
- Analyst Level 2 qualification from the Sri Lanka Institute of Taxation or enrolled in a similar tax course offered by the Chartered Institute of Accountants Sri Lanka
- Government University Degree is added Advantage
- Sound knowledge of MS Office applications & IRD RAMIS system. Familiarity with Google Suite would also be a bonus for this position
- Superior Communication Skills. English native speakers are preferred
- Strong leadership abilities and the ability to work in a team environment
- A positive attitude and the capacity to accept daily challenges
- Ability to work extra hours if required
