POST OF NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain our company network infrastructure to ensure smooth and secure operations.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues proactively to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
- Manage network security measures, including firewalls, Virus guard server and VPNs, to safeguard company data and assets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify IT needs and implement solutions that support business objectives.
- Conduct regular network assessments and implement upgrades or improvements as necessary to meet evolving business requirements.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including network diagrams, configuration details, and standard operating procedures.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users (Level 2).
- Manage computer Hardware team.
- Skills to plan and conduct training on IT-related issues for end-users.
- Competence in handling all documentation in the department, including service agreements and renewals.
- Proficiency in maintaining security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
Applicant Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology from a reputed university.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience with a strong understanding of networking protocols and computer hardware technologies.
- Hands-on experience with networking hardware, such as routers, switches, and FortiGate firewalls, CCTV systems, PABX.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft server administration, 0365 management, storage management, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, GPO Management, WSUS, and IIS etc.
- Proficiency in network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
- Understanding of network security best practices and protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
- Certification related to IT networking, Cloud, and Microsoft server technologies would be an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing technical challenges. Availability for additional hours as required.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
