Boiler Operator
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure optimum and continuous operation of the boiler and steam distribution system to facilitate the smooth daily operations
- Performing routine inspections and maintenance, monitoring metering equipment and adjusting levels as necessary
- Observes pressure, temperature, manometers and panel to verify specified operation of boilers, control systems, feed water regulators
- Test and treat boiler feed water, using specified chemicals while keeping the stock level maintained maintain log of meter and gauge readings and record data, such as water test results and quantity of fuel consumed, steam consumed by departments
- Maintain housekeeping of boiler rooms, related facilities, and work areas up to the standard level always
Required Qualifications
- Should be below 40 years of age
- Minimum of 4 years working experience in similar capacity
- Class I Boiler certificate with driving License
- Willing to work on Shift basis
- Working experience with bio-mass boiler will be an added advantage
