Management Trainee - Laboratory Technologist [Contract] | Buttala
(PDIL) is a truly Sri Lankan Company situated at Buttala in Monaragala District that engaged in dairy products manufacturing by using fresh milk Pelwatte Dairy Industries Limited collected from local dairy farmers.
We are looking for dynamic and energetic candidates, those who possess the following requirements.
Preference will be given to residents of Uva province.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct and interpret laboratory tests for chemical and biological samples.
- Able to operate quickly and accurately while adhering to strict standards of operating procedures.
- Maintain and operate standard lab equipment.
- Ensure the laboratory is well-stocked and organized.
- Perform routine and non-routine evaluation of raw materials.
- Compile and record precise data for testing and reporting.
- Maintain and manage accurate and precise documentation.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve laboratory objectives and improve processes.
- Additional duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, Food Science, Animal Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in equipment calibration, maintenance.
- Strong understanding of test methods, SOPs, and quality manual development.
- Ability to develop, change, verify, and validate methods and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
