ASSISTANT MANAGER - ADMINISTRATION (LOCATION - MINUWANGODA)

SCOPE

To implement monitor effective policies and procedures and thereby support the business objectives whilst coordinating all activities pertaining to administration such as transport, canteen, security, and welfare to provide required administrative services to facilitate the effective functioning of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Leading the administration function in the plant which covers transportation, cafeteria, and facility management functions with inbuilt responsibility for the plant's overall security.
  • Oversee all activities pertaining to the provision of transport services to ensure organizational transport requirements are met in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner.
  • Planning and deployment of plant administration objectives, SOPs, guidelines, and budgets with the team.
  • Driving achievements of the functional deliverables and budgets including SOPs and guidelines adherence, vendor management, best practices implementation, functional projects, etc.
  • Ensuring achievement of the plant security & loss prevention objectives.
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders for achievement of the functional deliverables and stakeholder satisfaction objectives.
  • Perform additional duties commensurate with the current role, as and when requested by management.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Human Resource Management or Business Administration.
  • 6+ years of relevant work experience in a similar capacity.
  • Previous experience in an apparel manufacturing environment would be an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, and analytical skills.
