Faculty of Computing Instructor (Temporary)
The Faculty of Computing of Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology is the home of more than 150 academic staff and an ever-growing cohort of undergraduate and postgraduate students. The faculty offers a broad range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs and encourages a rich research culture. In addition to bachelor's and course-work based master's programs, the Faculty of Computing offers MPhil and PhD degree programs as well.
We are inviting top-rated applicants for Instructor (Temporary) Positions. The selected candidates will conduct practical and tutorial classes under the supervision of senior staff members and will be engaged in academic and administrative work assigned based on the need.
The selected candidates will have the opportunity of joining a research group of their interest and gain experience by working with senior staff members. They will also be exposed to various other career development activities.
We are particularly seeking energetic, self-motivated, and dynamic individuals who have completed their undergraduate degree in one of the following specializations or a related field, obtaining a cumulative GPA of 2.5 (out of 4.00) or higher:
- Information Technology
- Computer Science
- Data Science
- Physical Science with a computing major
- Information Systems
- Computer Networks
- Cyber Security
- Machine Learning
- Interactive Media
- Information Management
