Tokyo Cement Company (Lanka) PLC., a prestigious public quoted company with foreign collaboration and Sri Lanka's premier Cement Manufacturer and Ready-mix Concrete Supplier, requests applications from qualified persons for the following position.
Storekeeper (Male)
Ready Mixed Concrete Operations - Peliyagoda
The right candidate should have:
- G.C.E. (A/L) qualification.
- Part qualification or studying for Warehouse Management would be an added advantage.
- 2-3 years of work experience in storekeeping, inventory control, and all aspects of store documentation, including record-keeping.
- ERP or similar software-related work experience in storekeeping would be an added advantage.
- Computer literacy, especially in Excel.
- Age between 22 and 35 years.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and supplies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock levels are kept at optimal levels.
- Organize and store materials in a systematic manner to ensure easy retrieval.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to reconcile physical stock with records.
- Coordinate with the procurement team to manage stock replenishment and order supplies as needed.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of materials to prevent damage or loss.
- Monitor and report any discrepancies or issues related to inventory and storage.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in the storage area.
- Generate regular reports on inventory status and movements.
