Draftsman
Job Responsibilities
- Create detailed architectural/Interior drawings and specifications using industry-standard software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and project managers to translate design concepts into feasible construction plans and provide technical guidance during project development.
- Generate comprehensive/detailed drawings for suppliers and the factory to facilitate production Supporting in the selection of appropriate materials, finishes, and fixtures to align with the design vision and budget while ensuring functionality and durability.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction progress, verify that work is executed according to specifications, and address any technical issues or deviations promptly.
- Communicate technical information effectively with clients, contractors, and subcontractors, answering questions and addressing concerns to ensure a smooth project execution.
- Identify and resolve technical challenges that may arise during the design and construction phases to maintain project timelines and quality standards.
Candidate Profile
- National Diploma in Drafting Technology (Building) (NVQ 05) or Equivalent qualification.
- 5 years' experience in detailed drafting in the ID/Construction industry.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software.
- Flexible working hours and ability to manage responsibilities independently.
