ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT
IMPORTS/ FINANCE

Qualifications & Experience
- Male candidate below 30 to 35 years
- Diploma in Import/Export documentation or equivalent qualification in accounting with experience.
- At least 5 years of experience of handling import procedure.
- Possess a good knowledge of written and oral communication in English.
- To have sound knowledge of Accounting packages.
- Experience in coordinating with foreign Suppliers.
- Knowledge of HS codes identification.
- Experience in Import costing
- Excellent knowledge of INCO Terms.
- Ability to coordinate with banks with regard to import formalities.
- Ability to coordinate with shipping/Clearing Companies to monitor vessel movements and to ensure receipt of all shipping documents like B/L's etc. is received promptly.
- Experience in coordinating with customs for conflict resolution.
- Experience in coordinating with insurance companies for import and local insurance.
Take responsibility on time completion of all tasks assigned with initiative, and be self-driven to get work done, on time, with no delays.
