About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Executive to manage and maintain the company’s Accounts Payable function. This role involves handling supplier invoices, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely payments while working closely with internal teams and external vendors.
Position: Accounts Executive
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and verify supplier invoices, credit notes, and employee expense claims.
- Ensure timely and accurate vendor payments in accordance with agreed terms.
- Monitor AP aging reports and follow up on pending items or disputes.
- Reconcile vendor statements and promptly resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all payable transactions.
- Support the month-end closing process with relevant reports and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and internal policies.
- Coordinate with procurement and internal departments for invoice approvals and matching.
- Assist during audits by providing documentation and financial explanations.
Requirements:
- Part qualification in CA or MAAT, with a degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role; prior experience in Accounts Payable is a strong advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with familiarity in accounting systems such as QuickBooks, SAP, or other ERPs.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
