ROLE PROFILE
- Conduct in-process inspections to ensure product quality and safety.
- Maintain and manage quality-related documentation.
- Ensure adherence to quality, food safety, health and safety, environmental and other relevant standards.
- Support internal audits related to process quality.
- Collaborate with team members to promote a quality-focused mindset.
- Oversee process-related microbiological and pest control activities.
- Ensure accurate calibration of process-related instruments.
- Participate in quality improvement programs.
- Participate in the system implementation process, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
- Contribute to the development of a quality-focused culture within the organization by promoting best practices and initiatives.
- Support and actively participate in QA-related departmental projects, driving improvements and aligning with quality objectives.
PERSONAL PROFILE
- Passed G.C.E. (A/L) in Biology, Mathematics, or Bio-System Technology.
- Diploma in Food Science or any related academic qualification from a recognized institution or university.
- Experience in Quality Assurance functions in a Food Manufacturing company and handling ISO related documentation would be an added advantage.
- Ability to work on a shift basis.
- Sound communications skills in both Sinhala and English.
- Analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
