Job Description
We are a leading multinational company in trims and packaging for the apparel industry with a BOI facility located at Katana, Negombo, supplying products for branded retailers in Europe and the USA. We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Executive who will manage warehouse operations and ensure the smooth and efficient movement of goods within our supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient storage, handling, and distribution of goods.
- Supervise warehouse staff and coordinate tasks to meet operational targets and deadlines.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper stock rotation and accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely receipt and dispatch of goods.
- Manage the proper documentation and reporting of warehouse activities, including stock counts, receipts, and shipments.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in warehouse or logistics management, with supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics processes.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer applications (Microsoft Office).
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
- Ability to lead a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
