Open positions: Commis I (Continental & Sri Lankan) - F&B Production
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Preparing food to meet quality standards and menu specifications of Continental and Sri Lankan cuisines.
- Keeping the kitchen, equipment, and utensils clean and following procedures in terms of temperature checks, food labeling, and maintaining hygiene. This includes mopping up spills and washing dishes.
- Monitoring stock movement and ordering for the respective section in the kitchen.
- Highlighting and reporting issues to the senior chefs.
- Assisting the Chef de Partie or Demi Chef de Partie in operations and junior chefs.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Candidates with experience of more than 2 years will be preferred.
- Candidates with proficiency in the English language and hotel management background/experience in F&B production operations will be preferred.
