PROJAR LANKA (PVT) LTD is a BOI company having its office in Negombo and factories in North-western Province. The company is engaged in manufacturing and exporting horticulture products in international markets. We are looking for an energetic & self-motivated individual with experience to join our dynamic team in Negombo.
Assistant Accountant
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the finance function and accounting team
- Manage and reconcile high – volume online transactions
- Prepare financial reports and budgets
- Oversee cash flow, forecasting and seasonal planning
- Coordinate with banks, auditors, and internal teams.
- Provide financial insights to support business decisions.
- Keeping accurate records for all daily transactions and update internal systems with financial data.
- Contribute to financial audits.
- Handling Payable & receivable transactions
- Coordinate with CFO for budgeting and tax planning
- Reconciling daily, monthly, and yearly transactions
- Assist and monitoring factory admin officer for all kind of reimbursement
Candidate Profile
- Be Part qualified in ICASL, CIMA, CMA or Finalist of AAT
- Minimum 3 Year experience in similar capacity.
- Good Communication skills in English, both spoken & written.
- Should be Computer literate, MS Office and prior working experience in ERP/ Navision 365/ Business Central or similar will be added qualification.
- Good team player with appositive attitude and the ability to motivate and develop subordinates.
- Should be fast learner, self-motivating and work with minimum supervision
- Living in close proximity to Negombo is essential.
