Position Overview:

The E-Commerce Manager leads online distribution strategies to maximize revenue and market share across all digital channels. This role focuses on optimizing the resort's website performance, managing third-party relationships, and implementing data-driven approaches to increase bookings and average rates. Key functions include electronic distribution management, competitor analysis, and strategic digital sales development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage room types, rates and availability across all electronic distribution channels while ensuring rate parity.
  • Optimize resort website performance to improve traffic and conversion rates.
  • Monitor and analyze OTA performance, producing regular reports on channel production.
  • Maintain optimal content across all digital platforms including the resort website, OTAs, and GDS.
  • Develop relationships with OTA market managers to enhance property positioning and conversion.
  • Conduct competitor rate analyses to maintain strategic pricing and revenue maximization.
  • Identify and recommend new third-party platforms in major feeder markets.
  • Analyze SEO, online traffic, and sales reports to develop effective digital strategies.
  • Collaborate with Business Development, Marketing, and Revenue teams to achieve targets.
  • Manage RFP requests and submissions in coordination with the Director of Business Development.
  • Implement effective cost control measures while adhering to internal approval procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in E-Commerce in hospitality. Experience in Maldives will be an added advantage.
  • Experience using and managing Property Management System (PMS), OTA extranets and Channel Manager.
  • Good understanding in Search Engine Optimization (SEO), and pay per click (PPC) tactics on Google, Yandex & Bing.
  • Experience in using Content Management Systems (CMS), Social Media, Email marketing.
  • Well versed in Google products.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate findings into action.
  • Excellent negotiation skills for managing relationships with OTAs and digital partners.
