Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing financial reporting, tax and revenue filings, and supporting the import/export accounting processes. This is an exciting opportunity to work with Sri Lanka’s largest importer of tiles and be part of a fast-paced, growth-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain up-to-date financial records and statements
- Prepare and present timely and accurate financial reports
- Manage accounting functions related to imports and exports
- Work efficiently with RAMIS systems for tax and reporting
- Generate business insights from financial data and support decision-making
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth financial operations
Candidate Profile:
- Part qualified in CIMA/ACCA/CMA or fully qualified in AAT
- Minimum 4–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in import/export-related roles
- Prior hands-on experience with RAMIS systems is a must
- Proficient in preparing and presenting financial reports
- Strong knowledge of revenue regulations and filing procedures in Sri Lanka
- Business-level proficiency in English and Tamil is essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Female candidates are preferred
