JOB SUMMARY:
As a Water Sports Instructor cum Speedboat Captain at Diamonds Athuruga, you are responsible for guiding guests in water sports activities and ensuring their safety. This includes operating and maintaining speedboats for excursions and transfers. The role requires strong knowledge of water safety, boat handling skills, and excellent customer service to provide an enjoyable and safe experience for all guests.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous experience in water sports instruction and boat handling.
- Valid boat driving license and relevant certifications.
- Strong knowledge of water safety procedures and emergency response.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve minor issues with boats and equipment.
- Instruct guests in water sports activities, ensuring safety and enjoyment.
- Operate and navigate speedboats for water-based excursions and transfers.
- Maintain and clean water sports equipment and speedboats.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols during activities.
- Assist in the setup and preparation of water sports areas.
- Monitor weather conditions and assess potential risks to ensure safe operations.
- Promote and sell water sports excursions to guests, providing information and recommendations based on guest interests.
