Assistant Manager / Manager Tours - B2B and B2C

(Location - Colombo & Katunayake)

The Job Role

  • Identify and generate B2B and B2C leads through networking, cold-calling and promotional activities to acquire new accounts.
  • Develop marketing & communication strategies to plan and venture into existing & new markets.
  • Make convincing presentations and demonstrations to potential clients.
  • Liaise with the offshore team and clients to ensure seamless operational efficiency.
  • Maintain a close relationship with clients during implementation and after on-boarding.

Experience / Qualifications / Skills

  • Possess a minimum of 3/4 years of experience in the inbound & outbound tourism industry is a must.
  • Sound knowledge in the process of planning, executing and handling inbound travel itineraries with a fair understanding of hotel rates, suppliers.
  • Be fluent in English language both written and verbal with excellent communication.
  • Be able to work independently.
  • Outgoing personality with negotiation and PR skills.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
