Executive - Logistics Solutions
Job Responsibilities
- Implement 3PL models to align logistics with market changes.
- Assist the Department Head in developing and implementing strategies for Logistics Solutions.
- Set up and implement selected logistics process projects/initiatives.
- Develop cost/benefit trade-off analysis and ROI business cases for recommended projects.
- Provide conceptualized logistics solutions to clients by understanding and analyzing customer requirements.
- Carry out research and acquire knowledge on new trends, concepts, best practices, analytical tools etc.
- Achieve sales targets and expand into identified markets.
- Maintain relationships with existing customers to improve the retention of profitable customers.
- Prepare and present sales reports as per the agreed timelines and prepare quotations, proposals, presentations, agreements/contracts as and when required by the Divisional Head.
- Actively participate in the marketing planning process by providing reliable information relating to external and internal environments to enhance the decision-making process.
- Planning and executing system user training, evaluations & composing user manuals.
Candidate Profile
- 6 ‘Credit’ passes at the GCE O/L examination including Mathematics and English and 3 passes at the GCE A/L examination.
- Bachelor’s Degree (Preferable in Logistics and/or Supply Chain Management) or an equivalent professional qualification.
- Minimum 2 years’ work experience in Executive grade, in a warehousing and distribution environment and exposure into inventory management will be a definite advantage.
- Strong background in systems analysis, design, monitoring implementation, testing, Continuous Process Improvement and project management.
- Sound knowledge in ERP & WMS and ability to work with MS office packages.
- Strong analytical & communication skills.
