PROCUREMENT OFFICER – COCONUT PURCHASING

We are looking for a dynamic individual with a passion to pursue a career at our Coconut Purchasing team in Kuliyapitiya.
Responsibility
- To source, negotiate and purchase coconut and other Agriculture/food material from local suppliers or farmers.
- Coordination with factory team to ensure on time delivery of material at right quality and quantity.
- To develop and maintain good relationships with Suppliers, Farmers and other relevant parties in the Supply Chain.
- Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time & best prices and ensure all the criteria are met according to the organization requirements and expectation.
- Develop and implements strategies for procuring, storing, and distributing goods or services and maintaining stock levels.
Qualifications
- A Diploma in Supply Chain Management or Purchasing Management from a recognized Institution.
- Around 02 – 03 years’ experience in Procurement field in a food manufacturing organization.
- Experience in procurement of Coconut, Other Food items is essential.
- Good communication, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Inventory management systems.
- Candidate in close proximity to Kuliyapitiya are preferred.
