Senior Accountant - Consolidation
Veracity Group is the global outsourcing arm of St Anthony's Group of Industries, specializing in Business Process Management and Knowledge Process Management Services in key areas of Finance & Accounting, Process Automation, Data Science & AI, Mobility and Customer Experience Services. We cater to a diverse portfolio of clients from the US, UK, Australia, Middle East and Sri Lanka.
We are looking for experienced resources to join our team for a Power & Energy company in the Middle East. This position will be based in Sri Lanka. Our client is a developer, investor and operator of power generation and desalinized water plants with 64 assets in operation, construction, or advanced development across 13 countries, with an investment value in excess 66 Billion.
The Role
- Obtain monthly ICP (Intercompany balances) report which is extracted from HFM.
- Analyze the report and the differences in the report.
- Liaise between the parties to resolve the differences.
- In terms of genuine differences, highlight to the consolidation team to analyses further.
- Submit the report weekly to the consolidation team.
- Support the group consolidation team on other consolidation and group reporting ad-hoc tasks.
The Person
- CA Qualification and assertive approach will be the key.
- Understanding of Accounting Standards.
- Experience working with reputed ERP systems. Oracle is preferred.
- Good working knowledge of Excel.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal as you will work closely with the Operational teams.
