Port City Colombo is a world-class city development built as an international service-oriented Special Economic Zone (SEZ), financial district and business hub strategically located in the heart of South Asia- Sri Lanka. With an expected overall investment of US$ 15bn on completion, the project spans 269 ha and will be transformed into a Modern, Green, Smart City enabling the exceptional in business, lifestyle and community. The City is estimated to have 6.3 Mn m2 of built-up space and an estimated population of 273,000. We are currently inviting highly skilled and qualified candidates to apply for the following position:

F&B SUPERVISOR

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage F&B and Janitorial staff, including tracking attendance, and conducting monthly performance evaluations
  • Supervise janitorial and kitchen staff at the main office and sales gallery
  • Supervise F&B services across all office premises, ensuring consistently high standards of service and cleanliness
  • Ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of the office and other locations are maintained throughout working hours
  • Coordinate guest reception, entertainment, and meeting arrangements, collaborating with other teams as needed
  • Support and coordinate guest entertainment activities, ensuring they align with company standards
  • Make hotel room arrangements for staff and visitors
  • Oversee stock management of company gifts, F&B service items, and janitorial supplies, maintaining optimal levels
  • Maintain accurate records and manage inventory of consumables and supplies

Key Requirements:

  • Formal qualification in Food & Beverage (F&B) or Hospitality Management is preferred
  • Strong understanding of office cleaning standards, delegation, and inventory/stock management
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and capacity to work extended hours as required
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities
  • Professional and presentable appearance
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
