Quantity Surveyor
Trillium is a diversified Holdings company with interests in Construction, Residential Real Estate, Commercial Real Estate, Hospitality, and IT.
With our further expansion into Residential Real-Estate and Hospitality we are seeking a dedicated Junior/Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Construction and Engineering department at Trillium Group.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the quantity surveying team and oversee all cost-related aspects of construction projects from inception to completion.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents in accordance with project requirements and specifications.
- Conduct cost analysis and value engineering exercises to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize project budgets.
- Manage the procurement process, including sourcing subcontractors and suppliers, negotiating contracts, and evaluating bids.
- Monitor project costs and expenditures, identifying deviations from budgeted costs and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Review and approve payment applications, change orders, and variations, ensuring compliance with contract terms and conditions.
- Provide contractual advice and support to project teams, resolving disputes and claims in a timely and effective manner.
- Prepare regular cost reports and forecasts for project stakeholders and management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying.
- Minimum of 05-10 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
- Extensive knowledge of construction contracts, contract administration, and procurement processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze technical and practical situations within projects and make decisions.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with contractors and suppliers.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in managing all sizes of construction projects across residential and commercial real estate.
