Key Responsibilities
The Freelance Draftsman will work closely with UK site engineers and the SL design team to ensure the timely delivery of detailed structural and architectural drawings for housing and apartment projects. The role involves producing high-quality drawings that meet project specifications and deadlines while managing multiple tasks and coordinating with the team to ensure smooth project execution.
Required Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate will hold an NVQ Level 4 or equivalent qualification from a reputable institute. Proficiency in AutoCAD, especially for producing structural and architectural design drawings for housing and apartment projects, is essential. Experience with 3D design models is a plus. A minimum of 4-5 years of experience in an architectural or structural design firm is required, with a demonstrated ability to take responsibility. Working proficiency in English is necessary for effective communication with the UK team. The role demands excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and solid communication and teamwork skills. Payment will be project-based, depending on the number of pages and the overall project scope.
